Work environments with multiple constraints
In a workshop, laboratory, production area or warehouse, the layout of spaces can vary considerably.
Some premises, for example, feature large open-plan areas with few partitions. The available walls may therefore be some distance from workstations and do not always allow PPE dispensers to be positioned where they would be most useful to staff.
In other environments, the problem stems not from a lack of mounting points, but from their nature. This is particularly the case in premises fitted with sandwich panels, which are widely used in the construction or renovation of commercial buildings subject to stringent hygiene and maintenance requirements.
Comprising an insulating material sandwiched between two metal sheets, these panels create durable and easy-to-maintain surfaces. They are particularly common in certain laboratories, packaging facilities, cold stores and food-processing environments.
In these spaces, drilling a hole in a wall to install a dispenser may not be suitable, as it damages the surface of the panel and creates a permanent fixture.
Given the lack of partitions, the need to preserve the walls, and changes in the layout of workstations, a permanent fixture is therefore not always the most suitable solution.
Magnetic mounting: installation without drilling
To address these various constraints, EPIBOX offers a magnetic mounting system for its single-use PPE dispensers.
On a compatible metal surface, it allows the dispenser to be positioned directly without the need for screws or drilling. A sandwich panel wall, a metal structure, a post or even a machine situated near a workstation can thus serve as potential mounting points for installing a dispenser.
In large production areas or workshops with few partitions, this option makes it possible to bring PPE closer to staff and their place of use, without being constrained by the location of walls or existing fixings.
The provision of PPE is therefore no longer necessarily dependent on the location of walls and existing fixings.
